On May 28, 2025, APAC DAO proudly hosted the Digital Asset Workshop at the prestigious Digital Currency Conference (DCC) in Bangkok, bringing together a packed room of policymakers, fintech innovators, banks, and digital asset experts at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

Curated and led by APAC DAO, the session — “Digital Assets Unveiled – Cutting Through the Fantasies and Fallacies” — opened with keynote remarks from our Founder Nicole Nguyen, setting the tone for a deep-dive into Asia’s digital asset landscape.

Klinger Friedrich (Advisor, BIS Innovation Hub) delivered a data-rich overview of the evolving digital asset landscape, examining its implications through a stakeholder lens. Following that, Tascha Punyaneramitdee (Founder & CEO, INFINIT) presented real-world metrics on DeFi adoption, highlighting lessons learned and paths to sustainable growth.

Jittinun Chatsiharach(CEO, TokenX) then walked the audience through current developments in tokenization and RWAs, emphasizing tangible opportunities for market integration. Kasidit Tansanguan (Head of Digital Currency Unit, Bank of Thailand) provided key regulatory perspectives on the role of central banks in shaping the digital asset ecosystem.

The session concluded with a high-energy panel moderated by Nicole Nguyen, exploring how to separate hype from substance in digital assets.
