For the past two months, the Vietnamese tech community has been buzzing with anticipation. From the first call for applications to the last line of code submitted, HDBank Hackathon 2025 – Galaxy of Innovation has been more than just a competition. It has been a movement: bringing together bright minds, bold ideas, and a shared vision for the future of technology in APAC.

 

As the leading strategic partner, APAC DAO is honored to have played a direct role in shaping this journey — powering the Scaling & Emerging Statistics Hackathon Tracks and helping deliver one of the most impactful hackathons Vietnam has ever seen.

A Journey of Two Months

The campaign began with a simple idea: to give innovators the space to build, challenge themselves, and create solutions with real-world impact.

Over the course of two months:

• More than 200,000 impressions were generated on Hackquest, engaging talent from 15+ universities in Vietnam and internationally.

• Over 500 applications poured in, proving just how hungry young builders are for opportunities to shine.

• 101 project submissions were logged, each representing a unique idea, team, and vision for the future.

And when it came to the live event in Ho Chi Minh City, the energy was unmatched. 88 participants worked tirelessly over a 36-hour marathon, coding, collaborating, and presenting under pressure.

The Scale of Innovation

Hackathons are more than numbers, but the statistics of HDBank Hackathon 2025 speak for themselves:

• 28 projects across Scaling & Emerging and 8 Cybersecurity teams advanced to the Top 100.

• Submissions came from ~28 countries and regions, proving this was not just a Vietnamese hackathon — it was a global stage.

• Social buzz amplified the journey, with 20,000+ impressions across digital channels and 27,000 people reached via Galaxy Innovation Hub’s Facebook alone.

Each figure represents people — students, founders, engineers, dreamers — all contributing to a collective leap forward.
